Leslee Unruh of Abstinence Clearinghouse discusses Abstinence Plus programs in schools. These Programs are theoretically designed to teach students about both abstinence and “safe” sex. Unruh rightly concludes that such Programs give children mixed messages, ultimately confusing them and having them respond negatively. Children, at the end of the day, need to be directly and explicitly taught what is right and what is wrong. Just like you do not tell people it is ok to drive on the right and wrong side of the street, you should also not be telling them that it is ok to be promiscuous while also teaching them about abstinence. Seat belt or not, drive on the wrong side of the street and chances are great that you will be hurt or killed and/or that you mill hurt or kill someone else. Sleep around and risks are high that something negative will happen to you and/or the people with whom you sleep (sexually transmitted diseases, unplanned pregnancy, self-loathing, etc). As many have justly said, Abstinence Plus programs marginalize abstinence as nothing more than a form of birth control rather than what it really is—-a lifestyle. Abstinence Plus programs, at the end of the day, is simply repackaged pro-sex education. Abstinence Plus programs have the effect of teaching children that sexual experimentation is ok, normal and even expected. What of the consequences of this liberal sexuality? Children are to believe that the negative consequences of sexual promiscuity are nothing to worry about provided they are “safe,” as if this safety is 100% total and guaranteed if they follow certain steps and precautions. As a result, these Programs have the effect of promoting and justifying sexual promiscuity and will have children engaging in random sex. Ok I have major Sleep problems and well if im going to be up might as well create something! This a AMV to Tsubasa and I had fun making it and I found darnit! I need more clips and eps. LOL but I hope you like it and enjor it as much as I did making it.

I'm 16, 5'5"..
I want to be taller.. and I heard that I must "deep sleep" to stimulate my hormone growth..
However I cant sleep well every night..
Usually I wake up twice at night..let say I sleep on 09.00 PM, so I'll wake up at 2.00 AM and 5.00 AM.
What must I do so I could sleep well every night and wake up in the morning?
make your room really really dark at night. Even cover up your clock, if it has a lighted display.

Avoid caffeine after noon.
Don't take sleep aids. They are addictive & don't help anymore after the first few times anyhow, and then you get rebound insomnia when you try to stop.
Get at least 1/2 hour of exercise during the day.

Gerry and Kate would like to thank all those who have taken the trouble to call or email with support and information. We have been taken aback by the level of your response. If you gave a statement to anyone during the course of the investigation into Madeleine’s abduction, we’d be really grateful if you could contact us so that we can follow up every last piece of information.
Our daughter Madeleine was abducted on 3rd May 2007 in Praia da Luz, Portugal, 9 days before her 4th birthday. She was taken from our holiday apartment where she was sleeping with her younger brother and sister whilst we were dining 50 yards away. Despite a massive investigation led by the Portuguese police and supported by the British police, we still do not know who has taken her, why she was taken or where she is.
In addition, private investigators based in Spain are now following up any leads regarding Madeleine’s disappearance. Since Madeleine’s abduction, we have learned a lot about missing children and child exploitation.
The scale of the problem is massive and worldwide. Although finding Madeleine will always remain our priority, we feel it is our duty to highlight these problems as well as areas where legislation can be improved, in order to make the world a little safer for all children.
To achieve these aims we are working closely with the International Center for Missing and Exploited Children, the Centre for Child Exploitation and Online Protection and other non-governmental agencies throughout Europe.
The Find Madeleine Campaign launched a new YouTube channel for missing children in August 2007 called ‘Don’t You Forget About Me’ in conjunction with ICMEC and Google.
The support we have had from around the world has been amazing. We have no doubt that without all the good wishes, prayers and efforts of so many people, our ordeal would have been so much harder.
It has helped maintain our strength and hope, and this together with support for the campaign, has helped the search for our precious Madeleine. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their unconditional support and solidarity.
Madeleine is a beautiful little person. She was a very happy and much loved little girl. We believe there is a very good chance that Madeleine is still alive. She deserves the love and security of her family. She needs to be back home with her mummy and daddy, brother and sister.
Please keep Madeleine in your thoughts and prayers. And please — remain vigilant.
We will NEVER give up looking for Madeleine.
